Returns &
Change of Mind Policy
Providing the
item(s) is/are returned (at the expense of the purchaser) in as new unused
condition in the original undamaged & unopened packaging we are happy to
accept the item(s) as a return and refund your credit your card or bank account
for the initial product(s) purchase price. The original shipping/handling costs
can not be refunded.
Also please note
that purchases returned to us by either Fastway Couriers or Australia Post as
undeliverable will be refunded (providing the items meet the requirements
outlined in the first paragraph of "Returns policy" above) less the original
freight/shipping costs. If you request a redelivery of the returned item, a
second freight charge, identical to the initial freight amount, will need
to be paid.
Exchange
Policy
Providing the
item(s) is/are returned (at the expense of the purchaser) in as new unused
condition in the original undamaged & unopened packaging we are happy to
accept the item(s) for an exchange and credit the initial product(s) purchase
price only against the cost of the replacement item(s). Initial
shipping/handling costs will not be credited, and the replacement item(s)
being sent will incur their own shipping/handling charges.
Damaged/Faulty
Goods & Warranty Policy
Any goods dispatched
by Petland and are received by the purchaser either damaged or faulty will
need to be returned to us at the purchaser's expense for any possible refund,
replacement, exchange or warranty claim. Similarly, any possible warranty claims
will require the item(s) to be returned to us at the expense of the purchaser
for consideration/assessment.
Refunds and Order
Cancellation Policy
Any item(s) ordered
that are either out of stock or wish to be cancelled may be fully refunded
at the request of the purchaser. This refund applies to the total purchase
price, including shipping/handling charges.

The item(s) ordered
have been dispatched prior to the refund/cancellation request. In such an event,
the refund/cancellation becomes either a "Return" or an
"Exchange".
Shipping
Policy
All item(s) ordered
will be shipped via Fastway Couriers or Australia Post; providing goods
ordered are in stock, orders are generally dispatched either the same or the
next available working day.
N.B. Only Australia
Post can be used for P.O. Box addresses and Express deliveries.
Goods Supply
Policy
Every effort is made
to provide some selected high-turnover items are available for immediate
dispatch. All other items may need to be ordered in to stock via our weekly
order schedules - i.e. every Monday morning; these weekly orders usually arrive
aroung the Thursday following. However, some delays may be inevitable due
to the lack of continuity of supply from our wholesalers due to our ordering
cycles and supplier out-of-stocks.
This site is a
showcase of the goods and their prices that Petland sells via our website.
We do not warehouse the goods for sale and therefore most itwems will need to be
ordered in to complete your purchase. Most products are re-ordered
every Monday morning via fax and those orders usually arrive in store
the following Thursday.
This
site advertises products we sell online; we do not bulk order or
warehouse the items listed on the site. This means that most items need
to be ordered into store within a 7 - 10 day period.
We will inform you
of any out of stock items and any expected delays in re-supply. In such an event
please refer to our "Refunds and Cancellation" policy.
Confidentiality,
Privacy & Security Policy
Any personal
information obtained by Petland in conducting and operating the purchases on
this web-site will be treated in the strictest confidence and not divulged (in
part or full), in any manner, way, shape or form to any other person, persons,
establishments, data bases, companies, businesses, business houses or
corporations.
Petland
utilises a secure payment gateway, "e-way", for your credit card
transactions and therefore we do not see, store or record your card
details. All we see is the item(s) purchased, your name and the address to
send them to. This is added security for our clients whereby none of your
details are stored or recorded and therefore cannot be obtained
electronically.
Special Orders
Policy
Any item(s)
that are special orders (e.g. non stock lines) are non-returnable,
non-exchangable and non-refundable once ordered.
"Authority to
Leave" and other Delivery Instructions
6) By ordering from
this site it is expressley understood by the purchaser that any "authority to
leave" or other unsigned delivery instructions where the goods are to be left,
unsigned for, at designated places are the responsibility of the purchaser.
Petland accepts no responsibility as to the receiving or not receiving of either
goods or orders that are subject to these
instructions.
