Returns
Policy
Providing the
item(s) is/are returned (at the expense of the purchaser) in as new unused
condition in the original undamaged packaging we are happy to accept the item(s)
as a return and credit your card for the initial product(s) purchase price less
original shipping/handling costs.

The item(s) being
returned were received either damaged or broken; or incorrect item(s)
were sent by us; then the total initial purchase price, including initial
shipping/handling costs, will be credited to your card.
Also please note
that purchases returned to us by either Fastway Couriers or Australia Post as
undeliverable will be refunded (providing the items meet the requirements
outlined in the first paragraph of "Returns policy" above) less the original
freight/shipping costs. If you request a redelivery of the returned item, a
second freight charge, identical to the initial freight amount, will need
to be paid.
Exchange
Policy
Providing the
item(s) is/are returned (at the expense of the purchaser) in as new unused
condition in the original undamaged packaging we are happy to accept the item(s)
for an exchange and credit the initial product(s) purchase price only against
the cost of the replacement item(s). Initial shipping/handling costs will not be
credited, and the replacement item(s) being sent will incur their own
shipping/handling charges.

exchanged were received either damaged or broken; or incorrect item(s) were sent
by us; then the total initial purchase price, including initial
shipping/handling costs, will be credited against exchange
item(s).
Refunds and Order
Cancellation Policy
Any item(s) ordered
that are either out of stock or wish to be cancelled may be fully refunded
at the request of the purchaser. This refund applies to the total purchase
price, including shipping/handling charges.

The item(s) ordered
have been dispatched prior to the refund/cancellation request. In such an event,
the refund/cancellation becomes either a "Return" or an
"Exchange".
Shipping
Policy
All item(s) ordered
will be shipped via Fastway Couriers or Australia Post; providing goods
ordered are in stock, orders are generally dispatched either the same of the
next available working day.
N.B. Only Australia
Post can be used for P.O. Box addresses and Express deliveries.
Goods Supply
Policy
Every effort is made
to provide all the products listed for purchase on this site be available for
immediate dispatch. However, some delays may be inevitable due to the lack of
continuity of supply from our wholesalers due to our ordering cycles and
supplier out-of-stocks.
This site is a
showcase of the goods and their prices that Petland stocks on the shelves in
store and also sell via the website. We do not warehouse the goods for sale and
therefore run out of any particuler product from time to time. Most
products are re-ordered every Sunday via fax and those orders usually arrive in
store the following Thursday.
We advertise and
sell our shop stock online; we do not bulk order or warehouse the items listed
on the site. This means that inevitably we will run out of stock of some lines
from time to time; most items that are out of stock can be ordered into store
within a 7 - 10 day period.
We will inform you
of any out of stock items and any expected delays in re-supply. In such an event
please refer to our "Refunds and Cancellation" policy.
Confidentiality,
Privacy & Security Policy
Any personal
information obtained by Petland in conducting and operating the purchases on
this web-site will be treated in the strictest confidence and not divulged (in
part or full), in any manner, way, shape or form to any other person, persons,
establishments, data bases, companies, businesses, business houses or
corporations.
Petland
utilises a secure payment gateway, "e-way", for your credit card
transactions and therefore we do not see, store or record your card
details. All we see is the item(s) purchased, your name and the address to
send them to. This is added security for our clients whereby none of your
details are stored or recorded and therefore cannot be obtained
electronically.
Pricing
Policy
Please note that
prices stated on this web site are for on-line shopping only. Prices on
identical items in-store may vary - they are sold at normal retail pricing
at Petland, 54 Colbee Court, Phillip, A.C.T; this possible increase in
price is due to the usual higher store overheads that need to be covered by
in-store sales (e.g. rent, public liability insurance, wages,
etc).
The web site store
is a seperate business activity that attracts the usual lower overheads
associated with this type of store; therefore the prices are usually cheaper,
even with the freight component added to the selling price.
Special Orders
Policy
Any item(s)
that are special orders (e.g. non stock lines) are non-returnable,
non-exchangable and non-refundable.

Orders Policy
All orders will be
dispatched by either Fastway Couriers or Australia Post
-unless-
the purchaser
indicates on the order their preference for holding the order in store for
collection by the purchaser or agent. This option is available however the
freight/postage fee is still applied; it cannot be deducted. Please note a copy
of the order should be brought for proof of ownership when collecting from
the store.
